Terms of use

Last updated: 22 October 2026.

The service

Align Canada audits a public URL and returns a one-page report: Core Web Vitals, EN/FR parity, French-default signals (Bill 96), consent signals (Law 25), and basic SEO.

The report is a technical checklist. It is not legal advice, not an opinion of the Commission d’accès à l’information, and not a Law 25 certificate. A banner that loads only in JavaScript can be missed.

Plans

The public scan is free, within the limit shown on the site. Pro is $39 CAD per month when checkout is on. Agency and fix work are quoted. There is no live chat and no on-call developer.

Pro payment, when enabled, is processed by Square. You can cancel under the rules shown at checkout. Applicable taxes are extra where the law requires them.

Acceptable use

Audit only URLs you are allowed to request. Do not submit local, private, or internal addresses. Do not use the service to overload a third-party site. We may refuse a URL or an abnormal volume.

Ownership

The site, the Align mark, and the report format are ours. You keep the rights in your own site. You may send the PDF to your client. You may not resell the tool as if it were yours, except under an agreed Agency arrangement.

Liability

The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that a score of 100 makes a site compliant with Law 25, Bill 96, or any other rule. To the extent Quebec law allows, our liability for a free scan is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the previous three months, or CAD $100 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that Quebec law does not let us exclude.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply. The courts of the district of Montreal have jurisdiction, except where a statute lets you sue elsewhere.

If the French and English versions differ, the French version prevails.
